I worked as a pediatric PT for 5 years after I earned my BS in Physical Therapy at the National Taiwan University, Taiwan. I received my MS and PhD degrees in Rehabilitation Science and Technology at the University of Pittsburgh, USA, in 2008 and 2013 respectively. My MS research project was to use ANSI/RESNA wheelchair standard tests to evaluate ultralight rigid manual wheelchairs. My PhD research project was to develop and evaluate the effect of a tailored electronic reminder to facilitate periodical repositioning using powered seating functions among power wheelchair users. I am interested in clinical research, clinical work, and clinical education. I speak English and fluent Chinese and Taiwanese.
