for last 15 years I have been working in Kenya in Dadaab refugee camp as a trainer Initially with Care international and later with Handicap international and currently, I am working with Motivation UK and I am based in Nairobi. I have advanced knowledge as a trainer in Basic, Intermediate and Advanced skills level in seating services for Persons with disabilities and especially children with cerebral palsy, and those with postural deformities, in addition, I have skills in designing and fabrication of various types of wheelchairs for different environments. I have supported various organizations in capacity building their clinicians and rehabilitation workers on World Health Organizations (WHO) training packages in wheelchair service delivery basic level, I am a qualified African regional trainer for (WHO) Wheelchair Service Training Package (WSTP) Basic Level.I have also supported other countries in training, like Zimbabwe, Somali, South Africa, Liberia, Rwanda among others.while working in Dadaab with Handicap International I was able to set up 3 seating clinic to support the children with disabilities and trained more than twenty-one(21) rehabilitation workers up to WSTPintermediate.
